The Center for Climate Journalism and Communication is hosting ten journalists at USC Annenberg today and tomorrow for our inaugural Health and Climate Change Reporting Fellowship in conjunction with the Annenberg Center for Health Journalism. These talented fellows are joining us from small and big newsrooms around the country. They will be participating in two information-filled days of climate change and health programming, after which they will spend 5 months reporting and writing stories about the health impacts of climate change while being mentored by senior fellows Marla Cone and Kendra Pierre-Louis.
“Climate change intersects with virtually every aspect of our lives today and journalists need to be equipped to tell the complex and consequential story of public health in a warming world. We are grateful to the Annenberg team and supporters for making this program possible.”
— Allison Agsten, director of the USC Center for Climate Journalism and Communication
