The USC Trojan Sustainability Network and the Annenberg Center for Climate Journalism and Communications are proud to present the next TSN Talk, centered on one of the most significant milestones coming to Los Angeles: the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As LA prepares to welcome the world, the Games offer a tremendous opportunity to accelerate climate action, strengthen community resilience, and model what a more sustainable global event can look like.

This session will bring together leaders who are closely involved in the planning, advocacy, and on-the-ground initiatives shaping LA28’s environmental and social legacy. We will also explore the pivotal role USC will play — from research and innovation to community partnerships and sports arena operations — in supporting a more sustainable Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The talk will also cover meaningful action items and key takeaways for the USC community, including local initiatives and participation opportunities that support the LA28 Games, as well as ways to engage in USC programs that help advance long-term sustainability goals that would achieve benefits that last well beyond the duration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
