The USC Annenberg Center for Climate Journalism and Communication is pleased to announce the launch of a special season of Electric Futures, a podcast that explores the lesser-known stories of the energy transition from the perspectives of those who are most impacted by these changes. A three-episode special season of Electric Futures, My Story is a Climate Story is hosted by Electric Futures’ executive producer Allison Agsten, and provides an intimate glimpse into the lives of five USC professors who lost their homes and communities during the 2025 Los Angeles Fires. Over the course of nine months, these professors shared stories of navigating grief and loss, discovering joy in what still exists, and finding hope in actions that can transform our city and communities for the better.
